COVID

My COVID Protocols:

  • All work is done with both parties masked.

  • No more than 4 sessions are booked in a day. This allows ample time for airing out the space, and sanitizing all surfaces.

  • As a practitioner, I am fully vaccinated and continue to employ safe practices.

YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

The treatment studio is a home office and does not have a waiting room. Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time.

During your Consult, we will spend ~30 min discussing your history, issues and goals as well as any questions you have for me.

If you have had imaging in the past (x-ray, MRI, CT etc) and have copies of reports or images please feel free to bring these to your Consult.

If you plan to collect treatment notes from this office in order to submit for insurance reimbursement, you must let me know at your Consult. Otherwise, I may not be able to accommodate.

HOW TO PAY

Cash, Check, Credit. Client pays service fee of 3%.

I am able to process most HSA/FSA cards as well. 

New clients booking online will be asked to enter their credit card information to be stored in the case of late cancellations. Your credit card will not be charged when you make this booking. However, for your convenience you will have the option of paying with this saved card info in the future. 

WHAT TO WEAR

In any of these sessions, one can expect to begin with a brief structural assessment. This assessment (or check-in) is used as a reference point for progress throughout the session. Meaning, we’ll be checking in, then doing a little work, checking in, then doing a little work… As such, we always work clothed. Please wear loose fitting clothing - underwear, bathing suit, or shorts/shirt work great! Avoid wearing leggings/yoga pants/bike shorts + sports bras, as we will not be able to properly access your skin + fascia.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Clients must cancel their own appointments through Acuity Scheduling. See confirmation email for the appointment.

Cancellations beyond 48 hours: Free/No Fee

Cancellations within 48 hours:

  • Due to extreme emergencies (car accidents, deaths/births, hospitalizations, etc): Free/No Fee

  • Due to sickness are handled as follows: (1st time - Free, 2nd time - 50% of session value, 3rd time - 75%, 4th time - 100%)

  • Due to extreme emergencies (car accidents, deaths/births, hospitalizations, etc): Free

  • All others: 100% of the session’s value due.

SAME-DAY BOOKING

Available for existing clients on an emergency basis only, please and thank you.

SLIDING SCALE

The sliding-scale fee option is available to everyone living below the poverty line. Preference given to veterans, single working mothers, students and the elderly. Please apply by emailing tucsonbodywork@gmail.com expressing your interest. Include a description of your employment + financial status, why you should be considered for sliding scale, and your reason for seeking bodywork.

PREPAID PACKAGES

Annual Prepaid Packages expire 365 days from date of purchase.

Miniseries Prepaid Packages expire 60 days from date of purchase.

Miniseries Gift Certificates expire 365 days from date of purchase, or 90 days after the first session/start of miniseries.

Prepaid Ten Series expire after 365 days from date of purchase or 6 months after the first session/start of series.

As a rule, refunds are not given on prepaid packages.

KID’S CLINIC

Legally, individuals under 18 years-of-age must have the permission of all legal guardians to receive bodywork.
